JustRite's April Release-Congrats Vintage Labels

Good morning!
Today is the last day of JustRite's April release. (boo hoo!)
I hope you've enjoyed all of the new stamps that have come out!
Today's set is a perfect set for special occasions. It is called, Congrats Vintage Labels.
The frame is so intricate and detailed.
Coral and gold are such a hot color trend right now that I decided to give it a whirl. I stamped the frame twice on pink and  coral papers.  I cut both pieces out and layered them on top of each other. I added gems and pearls.
I have been on a coffee filter flower kick lately.  I used them on yesterday's project as well. I love giving a soft color with my Tim Holtz Distress Markers and then layering the pieces.  There are actually 3 flowers here, one large and two smaller. I adhered it to the card with ribbon, and pink and gold string.  I added a pretty stick pin to finish it off.
Here is the set in its entirety. So pretty don't you think?
Be sure to visit these talented ladies!

Have a great weekend my friends!
I will be back Monday with a complete tutorial for Crafty Secret's linky party!

JustRite's April Release-Quilted Circles & Garden Tools

Thank you so much for all of the sweet comments on my blog yesterday!  It truly made my day!
I once again have TWO cards to share with you!
I am on a roll!
The first card I have was made with JustRite's new background stamp called, Quilted Circles. I stamped it on acetate and embossed it in white.  I used alcohol inks on the opposite sides ranging from green to red.
I added sequins and pearls to the front to dress it up a bit.  I added a flower that I made using the    Spellbinder's die and coffee filters.  I gave it a bit of color using Tim Holtz Distress Markers.  I added a bit of ribbon and string to finish off the sentiment.

My second card uses the set, Garden Tools.  I stamped a piece of October Afternoon woodgrain paper with the garden tools to make the background a bit more interesting.  The seed packet was cut using my Silhouette and the SVG file and then stamped.  I colored it using my Spectrum Noir markers. The carrots are from a piece of October Afternoon designer paper.
I added yellow gingham ribbon, a bit of lace, twine, and a couple of posies.
This is such a cute set and has so many possibilities!

Be sure to pop on over by the other gals' blogs!  I hope you are enjoying this release as much as I am!

The daddy is taking today off to be home with Cortney.  That means this gals is returning to work.  But the good news is, it is Friday! :)
Hope you all have a fantastic day!

JustRite's April Release-Home Tweet Home & Stitched Circles

Today I actually have TWO cards to share with you!  I know, I know, pick yourself off of the ground, grab your coffee and let's do this! ;)
JustRite is releasing this very cool background stamp called, Stitched Circles.  I decided to use it for the bottom of my dress.  The dress itself is an adorable Silhouette file that you can find HERE.  I stamped the dress with Versamark and embossed it in white.
After I embossed it, I used Tim Holtz Distress markers to give the circles color.  After I finished, I sprayed it with water so the colors would bleed into each other a bit.  I filled in parts of the circles with glossy accents and bit of clear glitter.  I added pearl accents and glittered the top of the dress as well.
I added a bit of purple satin ribbon, string, a couple of posies, and a sentiment that I created using my Dymo Label Maker.
Here is the background set I used. :)
For my second card I used Home Tweet Home. I had a ball coloring all of the individual pieces.  I used the SVG cuts and my Silhouette to cut the pieces I wanted.  I colored each piece with my brand new Spectrum Noir markers!  I loved working with them! The colors are move easily and are incredibly vibrant!
I added some pearls and a scattering of colorful sequins to fill it in.
I added a bit of cream seam binding and coordinating string.

This set is so stinking cute I can hardly stand it!
Absolutely, positively be sure to check out the other talented designers! They are going to knock your socks off with their projects!

I am off to lunch with my mom and Cortney.  It's a rainy, gloomy day, but nothing that a Chinese meal, a glass of wine, and good company can't fix!
Have a great day!

Just-Rite's April Release-Burlap and Applique Flowers!

Good morning! Today kicks off the first day of JustRite's April release! I am showcasing two sets today, Burlap Background and Applique Flowers & Vintage Sentiment Tags. I found this cute Silhouette, tote bag and decided to incorporate both sets with it. I cut the pieces of the bag first and then stamped it with the totally cool, awesome, fabulous burlap background.  ( I love that  background stamp, can you tell?) It gives it such realistic texture! I then proceeded to assemble the bag.
I used my Silhouette to cut the leaves (SVG file from JustRite) and stamped them with Versamark.  I embossed them in white and gave them a bit of color using Tim Holtz Distress Markers.  I stamped the sentiment on a tag, glued various sequins to a leftover circle I had, and added a bit of ribbon and twine to "anchor" it all together.

Here are the two sets I used. :)

And if you were looking to purchase any Spellbinder's dies, now is the time to stock up! JustRite is having a sale! Woohoo!

Be sure to stop at the other DT member's blogs! Their inspiration is incredible!

I am home with Cortney today (her spring break) and I am loving having the day to relax  and spend some time with my gal!
Have a great day friends!

Happy Sunday to you all!
I am running out the door for dinner with the family and to enjoy this long overdue warm sunny day! Kyle had his junior prom yesterday and I wanted to share his photos with you. So of course true to form, this crazy mama had to put the pictures to music... :)
