JustRite's New Release Day 4!

Good morning! Today is JustRite's Day 4 of new releases! Today's set, Vintage Pearl Labels, was so much fun to work with.  I pulled out my trusty Tim Holtz Distress Markers to give my image a water colored effect. I love the variances and imperfections in color.  So perfectly vintage. : )  The sentiment was stamped in brown and cut out using an oval Spellbinder's die.  I "grounded" the image with various Spellbinder's dies and a doily Papertrey ink die.
I created a double bow to add to the bottom of my image.
I found these little red posies in my stash.  I have no idea who makes them, but thought they would be perfect for the center of my bow.  I also added a couple of acrylic pieces to tuck under the flower.
Be sure to visit the other gals!  So much talent!

JustRite's New Release Day 3!

Good morning!  Today is day 3 of JustRite's new releases!  Now, don't fall over....but I actually have TWO cards to share with you today!  I know right? ; )   My first project uses JustRite's new set, Antique Valentine Tags One. I stamped it twice....once in blue and again in pink.  They were both cut out using Spellbinder's dies.  The flower is by Prima and the "gate" behind the image was cut using my Silhouette. The leaves are by Spellbinders.  I love mixing all of my favorite stuff together!
My next project is actually a dress shaped box cut using my Silhouette.  I stamped the bottom of the dress with the new JustRite set, Victorian Tile Background Stamp.  It was stamped in Versamark and sprinkled with silver glitter.  I decided to make it a dress suitable for a winter wedding, so I added a poinsettia and a tag from the Antique Valentine's set
A few pearls and a silver ribbon were all that was needed to finish it off.  It is a perfect box for tucking money into. ; )

Be sure to visit the other gals.....
Lot's of fabulous projects using these two sets!

Have a great day!

JustRite's New Release Day 2!

Welcome to Day 2 of JustRite's new Releases!  I am actually showcasing TWO sets here today.  I used a gorgeous background stamp for my heart called, Embroidered Background Stamp. I embossed it in white.  I love the texture it gives to the project! The heart box itself is also a cut from Silhouette.
The sentiment is from the Hugs and Kisses set.  I stamped the outside of the circle in a soft blue color and the sentiment in red.  I used my Spellbinder's dies to cut them out. I stacked them using dimensional foam circles.  I tucked it under my flower/ribbon combo.
See those flowers...again?  Can't seem to get enough of 'em! (Considering I've used them in my last 3 projects! ; ) They are the 3D Peony flower. I inked the edges a bit and added a few pearls to the center.
Here is the entire set.
For more inspiration using this fabulous new set, be sure to pop on over to these gals' blogs for a visit!

Have a wonderful Wednesday! I'll be back tomorrow with another new release!

JustRite's New Release Day 1!

Are you ready for a fun week of new releases by JustRite?  I have lots to share with you over the next few days.  : )  Today's card uses the brand new Cupid Background Stamp.  I stamped it in various shades of green, blue, and pink.  I cut out the center of the heart and created a shaker.  I filled it with lots of tiny heart sequins.  The flowers were cut using my Silhouette.  These are my favorite flowers lately, and I seem to use them on everything!  I finished the card with some seam binding, pearls, and a touch of glitter.
Here is a close of the shaker portion of the card.......
Here is this gorgeous stamp......absolutely perfect for weddings, anniversaries, and Valentine's Day!
The design team has truly outdone themselves with their creativity using this stamp.  Be sure to check out what they've created!

Aged to Perfection...

Good morning to you!  It is back to work for me today, as well as the normal chasing that comes along with having kids! ; )  Therapy, cheer leading, doc appts. etc....
I have a card I created using a variety of my favorite products.  The paper is all from Paper Loft. I adore the Earthy tones! The background is a new die from Papertrey Ink.  The flower was cut using my Silhouette machine.
I added some pretty silk ribbon from Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply store.  The sentiment is also from Paper Loft.
I have been wanting to share some of Cort's modeling photos, and kept getting sidetracked! She was lucky enough to model for a Chicago designer, Katie Conway.  This talented gal made the dress, blazer, and scarf.
I am so pleased with how well the photos turned out.  Especially since it was a wee bit chilly that day!

This one is my favorite.  The boots, the waterfall behind her.....she looks perfect.
Off to start my busy day!
Have a great day my friends!

WHEW!

What a busy week it has been!  Crafting has been put on hold for a few days to make room for Thanksgiving, shopping, decorating, and spending some much needed time with family.  I am finally feeling better.  I think maybe, not having to get up at 5:00 in the morning helped! ; )  I am spending my last day of vacation today in my jammies, making a few cards, and enjoying a bit of "me" time.
I promise to get back to my normal crafting stuff tomorrow.
But for today, I thought I'd share a few pics from Thanksgiving.....
My favorite guy and me.......
My big sis and niece....
My Mom and Father-in-law...... (dressed to match.....so cute!)
My niece giving Myla a little puppy love.....
My mom and George......
My sister and her family....
Where are my kids you ask?  Well Cort still wasn't feeling well at all.  She was fighting a cold and still having some GI problems.  And Kyle? Well he is a 15 year old boy.
Enough said. ; )
Enjoy your Sunday!
I'll be back tomorrow with some crafty goodness to share!
