Hello Thursday! Provo Craft's Newest Releases!

Remember last week when I mentioned that Provo Craft was hosting 3 Hello Thursdays? Well today is the 3rd and final installment for this month! There are so many new and fabulous cartridges to choose from and your going to love them ALL! I have a couple of projects created with one of the new ones called, Flower Shoppe. I adore flowers, so this cartridge is right up my alley! The first project I created was this cute little bucket of flowers. It looks happy and summery sitting on my windowsill at home!
Brian and I went to a wedding a few weeks ago and made this card for the bride and groom.
Cut information for both projects can be found on the Cricut Blog. : )
Be sure to stop by the Cricut Blog to see all of the new cartridges and the projects the design team has put together! You are going to want them all I tell ya! ; )

Moxie Fab-Tuesday Trigger!

Good morning and happy Thursday to you! I have been spending my week getting things ready for Kyle's graduation party this weekend! Cleaning, shopping, ordering cakes, balloons.....you know the drill! But at night when the house is quiet, I've been finding a bit of time for myself....to sit and create.....VERY happily! I decided for the 2nd week in a row (GASP!) to participate in the Tuesday Trigger over at the Moxie Fab World Blog! This week's colors are so soft and pretty.....
My colors aren't quite as soft and pastel, but I had to work with what I had on hand! So I improvised a bit! I did get the cream, yellow, grey, and blue in there though! I even incorporated some polka dots. : ) The stamp is by Crafty Secrets and it is called, I Love You Mother. (Which at the moment I can't find in the Crafty Secret's Store......) I stamped it in Versamark and used black embossing powder. I used several Spellbinder's dies to matte the image. I added a bit of vintage lace, a doily, and some seam binding to dress it up.
The flowers were cut using my Cricut machine and the Mother's Day Bouquet cartridge. I inked the edges in brown, applied glossy accents with my finger, and sprinkled Martha Stewart's Course Glitter over it. I had this grey rose brad in my stash and thought I'd use it for a bit more grey.
Well, I am off to the grocery store for snacks and such for Sunday!

Have a great day my friends!!!!

A computer generated sentiment......on a hand cut banner.......
And my little pretty all lit up for the night............

Sweet!

Good morning to you! I hope you had a great weekend! Our weekend was filled with sunshine, swimming, a church carnival, and some family time on Father's Day. So all in all, a great weekend!

I have a Crafty Secret's card to share with you that uses the Couple of Cuties stamp set. This image is so cute and sweet! I used my Copics to color it in and Crackle accents for the heart to give it an aged feel. Of course I had to use glitter around the frame of the image. ; ) I used some misc. papers I had scraps of on my desk. I think some is Jenni Bowlin, and Crate Paper. The pink text paper is actually recycled packaging from one of my ribbon packs. (Teresa Collins)
For my accent pieces, I used a crocheted doily, a Prima flower, some brown twine, and hot pink lace! I also added a Teresa Collins stick pin to it!
I think this angle gives you a better look at the Crackle effect on the heart........I've been a wee bit addicted to this stuff..... ; )
And here are a couple of pool pics of my two teenagers! The first one telling......not asking....me to grab my camera and take a few pictures of him. He told me he wants me to scrapbook him, so he can get published in a magazine! (Ok......I admit, I have submitted a few pages of Cortney that have been picked up for publication........and none of Kyle at the moment. So my new mission is to get his mug inside a magazine! ; ) I mean really, who wouldn't want this face in a magazine? ; )
Oh....and here is my published star! LOL! Cortney absolutely LOVES to swim. I think it is the only time her poor body gets to be free! Her legs don't work too well on land, but in the water? They work perfectly! She will kick and move around the pool for hours!
It is a rainy, gloomy Monday here........but it's all good. A few candles lit, the sound of laundry washing, and a good cup of coffee........ : )
