Another Reject!

have another "reject" to show you today! I had submitted this card to Northridge for publication but it wasn't picked up. So instead, I will share it with you! I used my Imagine and the Country Carnival cartridge to create the scalloped square and the rose. I blinged out the rose a bit with glitter and rhinestones. (Would you expect anything less from me? LOL!) The background was embossed. I tied a bit of Papertrey Ink twine around the image in two directions and added a sentiment......also by Papertrey Ink. The tag was cut using my Sentimental's Cartridge.
Have a fabulous weekend my friends! ( I will share my lil' secret soon! )
EDITED: Apparently, I have no patience, because my card WAS picked up! ; )

Best Wishes!

Hi there! I have a Crafty Secrets card to show you today using an image from the Birds and Blossoms Creative Scraps. I covered the image with Versamark and embossed it with a clear/glittery embossing powder. It gives the image such a pretty sparkle. I used a Melissa Frances frame and tucked a bit of vintage lace, pearls, and rhinestones behind it. Around the bottom, I tied some scrunched seam binding, a button from K & Company, a stick pin, and a couple of leftover leaves from the Cuttlebug Quilling kit.

I hope you are having a wonderful week! I know I am! ; ) I have a little secret to share.....but will have to wait a bit! ; )

Stamper's Dream and JustRite Blog Hop!

Good morning to you! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Today JustRite is having a blog hop with the gals from Stamper's Dream! YAY!

My card today uses the JustRite's Vintage Oval Labels set. I stamped in black and again in pink using Color Box inks. I embossed them with clear embossing powder. I used Spellbinder's Labels 13 to cut out the larger frame, and I hand cut the pink oval in the center. The sentiment was also stamped in black and embossing powder was used on that as well. I used foam squares to pop up the sentiment and give it a bit of depth. I used papers from Pink Paislee. I tied some seam binding around the image and added a Teresa Collins Blingy Star using twine. I also added a beautiful stick pin.....also by Teresa Collins!
